Kaden's 1 Year Pics!

Here are some one year pictures of Kaden that we had taken! He was so good! He ate up the camera! Cutie Pie!Kaden has grown so much in the last 2 months! He is learning something new everyday. He is getting so smart! In the last 2 months he has had many milestones.Kaden is walking like a mad man. He is on the verge of running! He is mister curiousity! He always wants to know what you are doing and wants to be apart of it, he doesn't like to be left out!
Kaden has learned to point. He points at everything and makes noises like he is talking, it so cute. It is nice because we have some idea what he wants. He is not only pointing but using his signs very well. He signs that he wants food, milk, he wants more, and all done. He has been putting a couple signs together now too. He will say more...food. It is so funny because he gets so excited when he tells you. He also waves bye bye and will blow kisses on occasion. Of course he is learning to get into trouble. He thinks "no" means keeping doing it. He thinks it is funny. He responds to "uh uh uh" better but it is funny because he will mimic you when you do it, but he will then usually stop and walk away giggling. If you go towards him when you are telling him not to do something he will get a big smile and run away from you.Kaden loves playing in the water, whether it is the pool, the bath, the shower, whatever! He likes to drink the water, which is pretty funny to watch.Kaden has learned to dance and he loves it. Anytime there is music he will stop and dance. It is really funny to watch when we are in the car in his car seat...he will bop his head up and down. He recently added hand movement, usually he would just swing his hips back and forth, now he puts his hands up and move them back and forth...it cracks me up!Kaden loves to open and close thing sand take things out and put them back in. He is a great helper with laundry. He will bring it to the washer and give it to me. If he finds clothes he will take them to the hamper or just stick them in the tub!Kaden has also learned to open doors, so we have to watch out and lock everything! He still has no fear. He will just to walk off everything no matter how high, whether it is the couch, our bed (which is high), stairs, whatever!
Kaden loves to be outside, although it is way too hot these days! He also loves dogs. He gets so excited when he sees them he will head straight for them with his hands out to pet them. He is doing much better and petting them inside of pulling their hair.Kaden also loves kids and babies, although he isn't so soft all the time with them. I think he gets so excited and wants to try to pick them up, but it looks more like he is trying to attack them.Although, he recently had some bad run ins with kids. He cut his first molar, and well I think it caused him to be a biting maniac, especially with kids. He bit 2 of cousins hard. He wasn't even mad, he was playing having fun and then out of no where he attacked...not good! One of his cousins is still scared of him. He is doing much better with bitting now. Although he has a second molar ready to break through.
Kaden loves his daddy! He is great with both of us which is so nice! He actually prefers that we are both with him. If we are both home and one goes up stairs or outside, even for a second, he burst into tears. He is very expressive. He always now how he is feeling, there is no questions there. He usually he really happy or just ticked off. When Kaden gets hot or has been outside for a while,he cheeks turn bright red! Poor guy!We have been having such a good time with Kaden. He lights up our day everyday! I love coming home to him! It is very exciting as we are getting ready for his baby sister!I couldn't be happier with these two guys! They make everything wonderful!

Our 1st Family Vacation!

We just spent the last 10 days on our 1st Family Vacation! We went to Oregon! Kaden did a great job on the plane! When we got there, we of course had to check out the local University's...specifically the football stadiums! The first part of our trip was a family reunion with John's Family. It was in the mountains and had beautiful water falls! I couldn't believe how green everything was. Look at this beauty...We took a 2 mile hike through the falls. Kaden loved all of the tall green trees. He just kept pointing at them and wanted to touch everything! Here is John's immediate family at the reunion.Kaden made a friend at the reunion, it is his 2nd cousin, she is 2 weeks younger than Kaden. Kaden wanted to pet and feed her so bad. He would get mad if I wouldn't let him. He tried getting to her in the high chair with out me. He literally hung like a monkey on the tray trying to get up to her. After the reunion, we went and visited my Aunt and Uncle and their boys. It was alot of fun. Kaden had fun at the park!Teeter...totter.....

Uncle Tommy, David, Daddy, Kaden and Matthew somewhere!
Kaden also got to visit the beach for the first time!
Kaden loved the beach. He had a great time playing in the sand. He was very happy just playing with a bucket and shovel. He then got 2 shovels!Snack Time!Kaden also took his first carousel ride in Portland! He had a great time!
On our trip we also decided to take a trip up to Seattle! Kaden is all about steps right now, he loves to go up whether big or small steps!
We went to the Seattle Needle and went all the way to the top! It was pretty cool, this is the view!At the top of the Needle!Kaden also loved the live music we would come across on the street. He would stand right in front of the band and dance. It was so cute! After a while he spotted their tip box and tried to take their money, that is when it was time to leave! This was an awesome waterfall near the Needle! We ate the Crab Pot in Seattle. We had awesome Crab and Salmon! They bring a bucket of seafood, corn and potatoes and dump it on your table! It was yummy!
We visited Pike's Place and the fish market! It was pretty cool!
The fish market is the place that throws fish around and are a bunch of fun guys! It was fun to watch them throw the fish, they are fast! We couldn't even get a good picture because they were so fast! We had a great trip! The weather was awesome, never above 75 degrees! We had a lot of fun seeing the sights and visting family! Special thanks to Uncle Tommy, Aunt Maria, and Cousins Matthew and David for letting us stay with you and showing us all of the sights!
