Congrats Paul and Jenn!
My cousin Paul got married on October 17th in Tucson. It was a beautiful wedding! They got married at a mansion and had the reception outside. They are such an adorable couple and we are so excited to have Jenn as an official member of our family! Love you guys!

Of course Kaden had to dress up. My sister Suzy found this awesome outfit for Kaden! Kaden loved it especially since it was comfortable!

Kaden did a good job during the ceremony. He was getting a little antsy at first so I had to stand in the back, but he then soon went to sleep! He needed to rest up for the party!

The reception was a blast! There was great food and lots of dancing! Kaden had a blast! He danced all night! He stayed up late...9:30pm!! He was so tired and couldn't last the whole night but he tried and did a good job!

Kaden seemed to be very ready for big boy food. While we were in Tucson for my 10 year high school reunion (I got to see a lot of people I wanted to, but I thought it would be more fun...I don't have any pictures so I gues that is that!) we gave him water from a spoon and let him chew on bread and he LOVED it. So I decided to start rice cereal on October 14th.
He was so excited and did a great job. He ate off the spoon like a pro!
He has done a good job with it. Although he really doesn't like to get strapped in (no suprise there). Sometimes it gets to the point he is throwing a fit that he goes crazy and you have to take him out and calm him down.
He does NOT like you to wipe his face when he is done...tears always follow!
I am so proud of this little guy! He has become happier, less fussy, and it seems to help him sleep better at night.
About a week later we introduce the sippy cup. Again, loves it! He is a pro, he caught on really well.

He loves to play with lots of bright colors and things that make crinkly noises.
And of course Kaden likes to play with his daddy!

5 Months!!
I can't believe Kaden turned 5 months on October 13th! He weighs 16lbs 11oz! He is getting very heavy to carry! His personality is getting bigger every day. He loves to smile and laugh...when he isn't smiling...he is mad! Kaden can go from a huge smile right into a full blown cry and turns red. It is pretty funny there really isn't an in between, what can I say the guys knows what he wants..I can't image where he gets that from!
Kaden is enjoying bath time again, but he likes to keep it short and does not like when I wash his hair or especially his face!
Kaden is starting to enjoy car rides more, at least he waits 15-20 minutes before he gets really ticked! He likes to ride in his stroller, but you better not stop! He continues to love the outside. He likes to look up at the tall trees now, it is so cute to watch him put his head all the way back and stare.
Kaden loves to stand and be on his feet. When you hold him he tries to walk up your side. He likes to sit up. He can hold his own pretty good, but he can't quite balance all the way. When he is laying down, if you hold his hands he will pull himself up on his feet...it is so funny! If he wants up he will pull his chest up with his arms anchoring him and he whines. I swear he has to have the strongest abs!
Kaden likes when you make noises at him..it is sure to make him smile. His favorite noise is a monkey..ooh ooh..ah..ah...ah. He LOVES it! He can make loud noises and if he is in a good mood he will mimic making noises with you.
Kaden is getting some good coordination..he is figuring out where his mouth is and how to get things in it. He will use his mouth as a hand and try to get it with his mouth...it is pretty funny. He likes to play with his burp rag and get it in his mouth. He will chew on it like a puppy and shake his head and all...hilarious!
Kaden's sleep habits during the night aren't as good as they have been. He is waking up a couple times a night..usually around midnight and 3am, just to be held and put back to sleep. I am pretty sure he is teething, nothing else really explains it, so it has been a major adjustment with less sleep! He loves to sleep on his side. He eventually rolls to his back. Naps are still a struggle. He will usually get a good nap in the morning and then afternoons just cat naps so that leaves him pretty cranky by 7pm. He will get his last feeding and then go to bed between 7:30pm-8pm.
Kaden is liking his mustang more as well as the Bumbo. He likes to play on his tummy. He likes to be read to. He doesn't last playing on his own for very long..his attention span is about 10 minutes. He is very intersted in food. His mouth starts salivating when he sees food. It's pretty funny. I swear Kaden doesn't know he is a baby. He wants to be a big boy so bad!

Rollin'
KADEN ROLLED OVER for the first time by himself tonight! I was at work so I missed it, but John was here and he missed it too!! John put Kaden on his back in his crib to go to sleep. John turned around and then when we went back he found Kaden on his tummy. So John put him back on his back because he was going to sleep. John left and took out the trash and when he went back to check on him Kaden was on his tummy again!! Yahhh.....Kaden! What a big boy! I knew it was just a matter of time because Kaden loves to be on his side, it is his favorite way to sleep, sometimes I swear his head was going to twist all the way around, it was just his butt slowing him down!

Now that Kaden is getting so big and strong, we are turning to other avenues of fun. He is loving his Red Mustang that his Aunt Stephanie got him. He gets his legs going and gets so excited and is basically jumping. The stearing wheel lights up and plays music along with the bar at his feet, he loves it! ...and of course he is rollin' in his ASU gear!
Big Boy gets Bigger!
Kaden has done it again...he has grown out of his diapers and clothes. He has officially moved to size 3 diapers and 6-9month clothes. He is definetly not a little baby anymore! He is just so cute!!
Don't tell John I posted these pics with Kaden in UofA gear! He didn't like it when he saw these pictures originally. But hey Kaden and I needed to make my sister a get well card for having her gall blander removed unexpectantly. Stephanie finished at the Uof A in August and will be walking in December! Kaden had to show his love!
This was Kaden's first art project! He was a good helper...well, at least he provided the material for the get well card! We put a bunch of UofA Kaden's all over the card!
