Catch Up!
I have been slacking on the blog thing. Not on purpose, I have just been really busy now that I am completly back to work. Which I am struggling with a lot! I hate leaving Kaden. I know he is in good hands and all, but it isn't the same as having me at home! I know in time it will get better. I have been totally exhausted! It is hard finding time to do anything. I get up early with Kaden, get to work, come home feed Kaden, try to make dinner and then it is time to feed Kaden again and put him to bed. Then of course I try to get to bed as soon as I can because in a few short hours it happens all over again. So I am trying to find a balance and get some new routines down. I enjoy my days off, which consist of waking up to feed Kaden, play with Kaden, nap with Kaden, over and over again. I love it because I cheat and lay with Kaden to nap! The couch is the best spot! I always tell myself I am going to get some things done when he naps, but then once I have him in my arms and he falls asleep, he is just too precious so I nap with him! It is my favorite (which I know you shouldn't really sleep with your baby, but I can't help it at nap time!) I really enjoy our time together, so it is okay that I don't get anything done. It is hard for me thou, because that is not my personality. I like to be productive with my time, multi task, busy body. But I know the most important thing is spending time with Kaden. So, I am continueing to figure out this mom thing, wife thing, work thing and everything else! All in all, Kaden is the very best thing that has happened to me and I am loving every minute (just wishing I had more minutes!). So hopefully I am caught up on my blog for now...there are a lot of new posts...so check it out!

Go Devils...
Kaden was sporting his ASU gear for game day today! Way to go devils, another win!! Go get them bull dogs next week!
Love this face!
A...S...U! A...S...U!
Look how big I am!

Post Bath Time...
Kaden doesn't really enjoy bath time anymore! It usually turns to tears very quickly. So we have been trying to have more fun post-bath time! Don't you love this frog towel!
Anything he can grib and hang onto goes to his mouth! We think he has started teething over the last month. He has been fussy and just wants to knaw on stuff and druels! The doctor says his gums are swollen, but doesn't see anything yet. Poor guy, it is so sad already!

Kaden is making his whooo...whooo....whooooo..noise!
Isn't he so big!

Target Baby!
One of my co-workers gave Kaden this Target onesie. He also got him his very own name badge! Who doesn't love Target!

4 Months!!!
I can't believe Kaden is 4 months already! He is looking so big to me! He is 15lbs 15oz (80th percentile) and 25 3/4 inches long (70th percentile). He enjoys lots of interaction and is learning to play. He likes toys, tummy time, sitting up, and looking outside. He has figured out how to make noises. It is very cute! His favorite noise to make is the whooo...whooooo...whooo...sound. It does it over and over. He also makes some funny noises when he gets frustrated or is trying to go to sleep. He sleeps about 9 or so hours a night, which I like! He usually takes 3 naps during the day. He is doing much better with taking real naps instead of cat naps. He is still nursing and then getting formula, which I will continue to do as long as I can. He finally figured out that diaper changes aren't so bad. He doesn't cry through them anymore. But now he doesn't like taking baths all that much. If he doesn't cry at the beginning he soon after will start, so baths are short. If I can get him to enjoy it by splashing his legs around he has fun, but he doesn't last long.
Kaden loves to play airplane and go up and down in the air. It is a good work out for me! It is so cute, he will crack up laughing and just has a great time!

Kaden has also got a mean grip!
Kaden is not only an avid ASU fan, but of course an Arizona Cardinals Fan also!

Bubbles!!!
Kaden has figured out how to blow bubbles. It is so funny! One day he was laying on the couch next to me and I look over and find this!
Of course I had to take pictures!
Doesn't he look like a trouble maker already!

Floor Time Fun...
Kaden loves to play on the floor. He likes it the best after he has eaten and I have changed his diaper. He will just lay there and crack himself up. He will start kicking his legs and moving his arms.
Although, it doesn't last too long! But it is cute when he does!
Kaden likes to lay on this great blanket that his Great Aunt Julie made him. It is so soft and big! Kaden really likes to sit on his own, although you have to watch him because he will soon fall over!
Bumbo fun!
Just recently I broke out the bumbo chair and gave it a whirl. Kaden seems to like it. He likes to sit up so it works out well.
He is into putting things in his mouth, really just blankets because that is the only thing he can manage to hold onto and get it to his mouth.
It is so funny to watch, John tells him that he is a puppy. He will bring the blanket up to his mouth, open wide and then shake his head from side to side bitting down on it. It is hilarious!
It is even funnier when he does it to the air, without a blanket!
He is a little stiff when he sits in it, but he is figuring it out!

This is what I found...
A couple weeks ago, my sister Stephanie came to visit us. John was working the ASU game so Stephanie, Suzy, Kaden and I went to eat at a delicious sandwhich shop called Firehouse Subs...it is SO good! We are totally addicited. Afterwards we went to Tempe Marketplace to walk around and watched some live bands. We had a great time and Kaden was beat. On the way home I could hear him playing in his seat. I had placed his catepillar down by his feet. About 10 minutes into the ride home he fell asleep. When I got home, I found him snuggled with his catepillar. He had it up by his face. It was so cute, so I ran in the house and grabbed the camera. Of course when I opened the door to take his picture he woke up, but you still get the idea. It cracked me up. He really hadn't been holding on to stuff besides the burp cloth.
GO DEVILS!!!!!!!
Boy are we excited for football season!! Kaden is ready with all of his ASU gear! He has been sporting it a lot now that the season is in full swing!
Kaden and John having some pre-game fun! Kaden loves to be moving and it turning into quite the dare-devil!

Although, soon after kick-off Kaden goes to bed! It is still fun to show our devil pride through Kaden! GO DEVILS!!!! And if you know John, ASU football is serious business, he is a very loyal fan!...the famous last words of John....this is the year...I can feel it!
Play Time!
Kaden has started to take interest in toys. These are his favorites right now. The catepillar is his most favorite. It plays music about colors and numbers. He gets very excited and can hold on to it.
Isn't he cute! He loves laying on the boppy!
His big blue eyes just make you melt!
Kaden second favorite toy is the mirror. He loves to look at him self and the colorful border. He can grab the ladybug that is on the mirror! Red seems to be his favorite color right now!
