Kaden graduates!

Kaden has officially out grown his 0-3 months clothes. We have upgraded to 3-6 months this week! I can't believe it! Starting today we have also switched to Soy Formula to help with his tummy issues. Hopefully it will be better! I have to say thou, I opened the container and my, my...that formula stinks...it smells like cow or something not good! It will be interesting to see what kind of smells Kaden will have! But if it makes him feel better, I am all for it!

Some fun play time with daddy! Kaden has a lot of fun with John...he laughs and giggles at him!

Happy Birthday Suzy!!

My little sister Suzy celebrated her birthday yesterday! Kaden LOVES Aunt Suzy! She is lots of fun! She always has fun games and activities to play. I love having her live so close! We hang out all the time! Happy Birthday Suzy!! We Love You!

Kaden is excited for Mondays! Aunt Suzy will be watching him in the morning when we go back to work!My parents and brother came up from Tucson over the weekend and we had lunch to celebrate. Afterwards, we got an ice cream cone at Dairy Queen! Look at these fools haning out in 110 degree whether! My Mom, John, Kaden and I ate our ice cream inside!
Yesterday, for Suzy's actual birthday we celebrated as sisters and went and got pedicures/manicure. Then we had chinese and rented Confessions of a Shopaholic! It was a fun birthday weekend and it wasn't even my birthday!

Kaden Goes Swimming!!

Kaden went swimming for the first time this weekend. We bought a blow up pool for the backyard, it is great! Kaden loved it! He liked to kick and splash. He had a great time!

Kaden loves his daddy...he has a lot of fun with him!

We had fun swimming..and it kept us cool...it was 115 degrees today!

1st Overnight Trip

Last weekend Kaden had his first overnight trip to Grandma and Grandpa's in Tucson. The Oregon Prosser's, Maria and David were in town so we had a BBQ at Aunt Jeannie's house! Kaden got to meet some of his great-great aunts and uncles. He had a lot of fun and hardly slept..so it took him 2 days to recover once we got back home. He did a very good job and he had his two crazy Aunts, Michelle and Suzy, to keep him entertained during the car ride! (Kaden does not like to be in his car seat!)

Although Kaden didn't sleep during the day, he slept good at night. He even got up to see his grandpa off to work on Monday morning! Kaden loves his grandma and grandpa!
Kaden slept in his pack and play at night and then in the morning he napped with me! One of Kaden's favorite places to sleep is with me..we spend cuddly time every morning (I am going to miss that once I go back to work!)

Kaden LOVES the bath!

These pictures show how much Kaden loves his bath. It is one of my favorite times with him. He smiles and gets so excited and splashes with his arms and legs. It is so cute when he gets his arms and legs into a rythm.

Kaden at 2 Months!!

Happy 2 Months Kaden!! I can't believe it has been 2 months! Kaden is now a healthy 13lbs 9oz and 23 1/4 inches long! He is in the 90th percentile for his weight and the 60th for his length. He is developing into a little person more and more each day! It is awesome to see him grow and change everyday! We love him so much!

Kaden is now smiling with us and has the funniest expressions! He loves to be in his swing, lay on his tummy and loves music and noise. He recognizes John and I and distinguishes us from other people (which of course makes me feel so good!). He is also just learning that he has a voice, he is starting to make noises and even almost laugh out loud.

One of Kaden's favorite things to do is take a bath. He splashes around and does not like to get out of the tub. I have a foam pad and lay him in the tub with his head on the foam pad so he is actually in the water. John says he is training to be a swimmer (like John was)!

Kaden is a great sleeper at night. He sleeps 7-9 hours a night! YAH, I am loving it! He goes to bed around 8:30pm and usually wakes up around 4:30am or so. After he eats he goest right back to sleep!
Sleeping during the day is a different story. He doesn't like to fall asleep alone or with out being moved. If you put him down he usually wakes up a few minutes later. His favorite sleeping position is in y0ur arms and he will barry his head into your armpit. I don't know how he breaths. If you move him, he squirms his way back. It is so funny! I love how snuggly he his, it will be hard when he doesn't want to cuddle anymore.
Kaden is a good eater. I nurse him and then follow up with some formula. We are supplementing with formula to help with his gas issues. It has helped a lot. He still has some bad days where he just cries and his tummy is so tight. When that happens we give him drops and help him work the gas out...it is so sad.

Kaden is getting use to his diaper changes. He used to scream his head off and turn bright red. Now, he doesn't do that every diaper change. I think it helps that his diaper rash finally went away...yah...after 6 weeks!

Kaden has given me the best 2 months of my life! He brings such joy to our life and I can't image life with out him. He makes everything better and can put a smile on my face no matter what! We Love You Kaden!!

No Work!!

It has been awesome having all of this time off with Kaden and John! We really have had a good time bonding as a family! As well as taking care of Kaden, John has been busy with school. He is taking 3 summer classes for his master's. He is very excited to finish. He has one class left in the fall and will graduate in December! On top of that he has been working on the yard adding drips lines and things as well as working on my little "to do" list that I had for him. As for me, I am living it up as a mom and getting lots of little projects done. I got caught up on my scrapbooking, started a baby book for Kaden, have cleaned out and organized every inch of my house, started a blog and all aroud just enjoying my time with John and Kaden! We only have 2 and 1/2 weeks left of our time off and then it is back to work..so I am soaking in every second!

I am very proud to be an American and enjoy all the freedoms in this country. I am grateful to all those who have fought and continue to fight for our freedom, thank you! We spent 4th of July at home and had a birthday BBQ for my sister. We enjoyed fireworks on our tv while Kaden slept! Maybe next year he will be into it a little more!
