Our Little Family...is Growing!

That's right...Kaden is going to be a Big Brother in November (18th)! This shirt was the last present he opened at his birthday party to share the good news with our family and friends! We are very excited! Although, poor Kaden has no idea what is ahead for him, he will be a great big brother!

8 Year Anniversary!

John and I celebrated 8 years of marriage on May 18th! This last year has been the greatest year of our marriage as we welcomed our first baby, Kaden into our family! I am married to such a wonderful guy and I wouldn't be the person I am without him. He loves me unconditionally and is the person that I love sharing all of this with! Thank you John for taking care of me and our family and giving me such a wonderful life! I love you!

Kaden turns ONE year old!

Kaden turned One on May 13th! We celebrated with family and friends at Kaden's First Birthday Party! Kaden was a little overwhelmed with all the people at first, but after he took time to observe everyone, he had a great time!Kaden's Birthday Party theme was Disney Cars!
Of course, Kaden got a cake of his own to eat!Birthday Wish.....Kaden wasn't so sure at first especially with everyone staring at him, but he quickly figured it out!Yummy frosting!Kaden has had some big milestones this month. He is no longer drinking out of a bottle! He is also eating almost all table food, baby food every now and then for convinience! He loves big boy food! Anytime some is eating he stops what he is doing and goes right over to them and basically begs to get some! He helps to have 8 teeth! Although, he can't get it in his mouth fast enough sometimes! Kaden wieghs 23lbs and is 30.75 inches long.

Kaden is also becoming quit mobile! He is walking. He stills crawls alot, but is incoperating walking much more now. This week, he has started doing swats. He will stand up then, bend down, and stand straight up again. He will do it over and over again and loves a reaction. He claps for himself when he stands straight up. Clapping is another newly acquired skill! He also has quite the vocal box! He is making lots of sounds...mum, dada, ssss...., and has his own unique language!

Kaden received a ton of presents at his party! So many toys, I don't know what to do with. We have only opened a few so far. I figured we will introduce one or two at a time. He is loving his new toys!I was surprised at what a good job he did opening presents. He lasted the whole time! Cutie pie!Kaden is very curious. He wants to be a part of whatever you are doing. He gets mad if he can't see what your doing. He is so cute, his eyes will get really big and he will stick his neck out and just stare! He is so smart too. You can't trick him. He knows what is going on!Kaden is a better sleeper now. He is much more cooperative to take his 2 naps. They don't always last too long, but will take them. He is better at sleeping through the night as well! He never clinged to anything like a binki or blanket, so I think he is just now figuring out how to comfort himself.

He definetly knows what he wants and he will let you know if he doesn't get it! He has 3 moods. Happy with tons of smiles and shows off with all his tricks. Curious, he gets real quiet and just observes and then just ticked off!Kaden loves his mommy and daddy! Which is a good thing because boy do we love him! He just lights up the room and fills my heart! I love that little guy so much! I can't believe it has been one whole year! It feels like he was just born and yet it feels like he has been apart of our family from the beginning! He is getting so big and I look forward in watching him grow and figure out this crazy world!We are so lucky to have so much family and friends that love him so much and to share memories with!HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY LIL' K!!!

My First Mother's Day!

This year I got to celebrate my first Mother's Day! Kaden and John got me this awesome fruit arrangement to celebrate, it was yummy! It was a great day to relax and enjoy it with my boys! I love being a Mom!! What a great gift it is!

Trouble!

Kaden loves to climb on anything and everything he can. He often finds himself in places he should not be and that he can't get out without help! He thinks it is funny at first, but then gets mad if you don't help me out!Somehow he gets himself into the little spaces, he is so funny!Definetly getting into trouble! He pushed his couch over to the gate, flipped it over and then climbed on top of it and started yelling...oh boy the adventures we will have!

11 Months!

Where does the time go! Kaden is turning into quite the little man with lots of personality! He knows what he wants and will let you know when he isn't getting it. He is exploring more than ever!Kaden is still technically walking on his own...but boy does he walk against everything. He can walk, but is chicken. Once he realizes he is standing by himself he sits down or dives to the ground, which is pretty funny!

Kaden is still eating baby food, but is eating table food as well. He is a begger. If he sees you have a drink or food he comes directly to you and begs and doesn't leave your side. Same if you go into the kitchen or bathroom, he will stop what he is doing and book it for you.Kaden still loves the outside. If he is really upset the only thing that will get him to stop crying is going outside. Just step outside and he is fine. He loves to look out windows.Kaden is doing better with sleeping but still isn't great. He is a snuggler, what can I say! He will sleep through the night a few times a night..the other nights he wakes up and will not stop crying until you pick him up. He is a lover that guy!Kaden is making lots of noises, which is so funny! He gets loud too!Kaden is so much fun and is turning into such a smart little boy!
