We celebrated Avery's Birthday at home with pizza and mint chocolate cake ice cream!Kaden of course enjoyed the festivities. He kept talking about having 2 parties. He also had been working on the Happy Birthday Song!Kaden enjoyed Avery's gifts as well! Avery really wasn't into gifts!Happy Birthday Avery!

Avery did enjoy her cake! The famous kid couch was Avery's Birthday Gift! Kaden and Avery are pretty funny and thank goodness they love each other!
They can't stay away from each other!

Avery's Tinkerbell Birthday Party!Avery had a good time at her birthday party! She isn't one for lots of people, but it pretty well considering! She wasn't interested in gifts at all. She finally just walked away crying, so Kaden finished off for her! She enjoyed her cake thou!

Halloween!

Kaden was Thomas the Tank for Halloween! He LOVES choo-choos, so when we saw it at Target, it was easy to decide what Kaden was going to be!Kaden was so excited to go trick-or-treating. We had been talking about it and he had been practicing saying trick-or-treat! He had an emphasis on the treat part of course!

Avery was Super Baby!

She enjoyed watching everyone else!
I tried getting a picture of them together. Kaden was way too excited and of course just wants to hug on his sister. Avery is so tolerant!

Ready to go!
Kaden did a good job. He had no problem knocking on the door. The first half of houses he didn't say trick or treat, he just stuck his pumpkin out in the air for them! Although we had to watch him because he would try and snag another piece! Suzy and Michelle also joined us in their costumes!

Another GIRL is on her way!

That's right, these two goof balls have a little sister on the way! We are very excited for her arrival! Time to do some decorating!
Avery learned how to drink out of a straw this week. We really haven't been very good about giving her sippy cups. But as I realize she is almost one, I figure we need to get on it! She is doing a good job!Avery has also been working on her walking. She is taking 3-4 steps! Such a big girl!! Kaden has been really great coaching her along the way! He is such a good big brother!

Carving Pumpkins!

On Sunday, Kaden and John carved their first pumpkin!

Kaden was excited to do it!
Although, after getting started, he was not sure about pulling the guts out. He said, no no no, at first, but then gave it a try. It was pretty funny!Of course, half way through Kaden was over it and found something else to do! John was a trooper! I was just thinking of just circles and triangles, but John wanted something better! He did a great job and boy was he patient!

It is Count Dracula!

Avery Turns 11 Months!

Little Missy turned 11 months! She is becoming quite the little lady! She has 8 teeth and loves food! She is on all big girl food! There isn't anything she doesn't like. Most of the time she can't get it into her mouth fast enough! She is very mobile and learning to climb on everything. She has taken a step or two, but still working on her balance! She loves to play with Kaden. She especially likes it when he chases her, she just cracks up and crawls as fast as she can. When Kaden has to go into time out (usually for being rough with Avery), sure enough Avery will immediately go to him in time out!She loves to be where everyone else is. She doesn't want to be left out. She does a really good job about waving, she waves all the time just to say hi or goodbye. She signs milk, food, and all done.
She likes to open and close doors, especially when she follows you to the bathroom! Avery is also very independent. She will entertain herself and stay busy without bothering anybody. The other night, we were watching TV and Kaden and Avery were playing. The next thing we knew Avery went over to Kaden's couch (which she loves), unfolded it and sat down and just laid back, with no help from anyone. She just laid there relaxing. It was the funniest thing! She is such a good baby with such a sweet personality (unless she doesn't like what is happening...she will let you know)!

Dinosaurs!

The car ride was the hardest part of the trip! Kaden did a great job for the most part. Little Miss Avery on the other hand wasn't digging it as much! I thought she would sleep more in the car than she did. On the way home, we stopped and looked at the dinosaurs! Kaden thought they were pretty cool!

Disneyland!!!

We decided to escape the heat and take the kids to Disneyland for the first time, while they are both still free and I wasn't too pregnant....oh yah did I mention...we are pregnant...AGAIN!!! Number 3 is on the way...March 24th! We are so excited! The kids had a blast!!! Well, at least Kaden sure did, Avery was just along for the ride! We have been talking about it for months, so Kaden was so ready and excited! We went to Disneyland for 3 days and stayed in a Disneyland Hotel. We wanted to be very close so we could go back for nap time. It worked out really well. We would get up, get dressed and have breakfast and then head to the park. After lunch we would head back to the hotel and take about a 2 hour nap, John then got to go watch football while we napped!Kaden was exstatic and loved everything. He would just say "Momma, Momma and would point." He was so good! This was his first photo opp, which of course was a big deal with it being Lightening McQueen! He was so funny, he walked right up and put one hand on each car!Minnie was the first character Kaden saw. He spotted her and said "Momma, Momma." He went right up to her to say hi. He thought it was the greatest! Pluto was also there so he got 2 for 1!

More Disneyland!!

There were so many choo choos we got to go on, Kaden was in heaven! Of course trying to get a picture was a little impossible, there was way too much to look at!
Then there were so many cars to ride too! Kaden loved this one because he could actually drive! The second day we had breakfast in the park with the characters. Kaden LOVED it! We got to see SO many characters. Kaden would run up and stop, as other kids were having their turn, and he would just wait starring for his turn! Then he would go up to them, not sure what to do, so we said, give 'em a high five and he would! He was so cute! Kaden liked Hook, as he watches Jake and the Neverland Pirates on the Disney Channel.Avery wasn't too in to it. Although she did great with Rafeekee, who knew! Avery did like the characters noses if they got close to her. She would grab for them and then try to put their nose in her mouth!Kaden got to ride his first roller coaster and......HE LOVED IT!!! He had a huge smile on his face the entire time! He would run off and come tell me all about it! He was tall enough to go on the Matterhorn so we decided to let him try it. He held on tight and at the end he turned to John and said, "all done...all done." Then it started to go again so they could get off and Kaden said, "no, no, no...all done." He didn't cry and was really excited to tell me about the bear, he grarrer at me! It was really funny when you asked him about that ride. He did that one just once!Proud and excited Kaden in front of his first roller coaster ride! He rode this one the most!We had such a good time! The kids were so good! And it was so cool to see Kaden so happy and excited!Avery would get really tired. She napped a lot in the stoller. She is a tough cookie, she broke 2 teeth on our trip!

Despite the picture, Kaden loved the carousel!

Kaden loved all the character rides in fantasy land too! Peter Pan was really cool because we could fly! Mr. Toad was cool because he was in a car!
Kaden really wanted someone to be home at Rabitt's house if front of Alice in Wonderland. She tried knocking, opening the door and even went to the window. It was really funny! What a cutie!! He loved the rides too! I think she was happy to get out of the stroller! Although, I was really surprise at how well she did in the stroller, I guess there was so much to look at, it didn't bother her.The first night we watched World of Color. Avery was asleep, but Kaden loved it! The second night we watched the fireworks, Avery was asleep, but Kaden loved it of course!I love Disneyland! Nothing is better than watching your kids at Disneyland! It was such a fun trip!!
