Kaden is 3 Months!

Kaden turned 3 months on the 13th! He is getting so big! He weighs about 15 pounds and is about 25 1/2 inches long! He is definetly coming into his own personality. He loves to smile and laugh with you. When he gets really excited he will kick his legs and wave his arms and make noise. He is learning he has a voice and makes the cutest noises, especially when he is happy.
He is a good eater, eating about every 3-4 hours. Soy formula has helped out a lot with his tummy. I still am nursing him first and will continue to for as long as I can, although it will be very tricky with going back to work!

He sleeps about 10 hours a night. He doesn't like to nap during the day, if he does he likes to do it with you. He doesn't like to sleep on his own during the day. His favorite sleeping position is cradle in your arms and he likes to sleep next to you in your arms as well.

He likes steady noise, static is his favorite noise. It calms him and helps him fall asleep if he needs it. Kaden is much better with diaper changes, he usually only throws a fit when he is already not very happy. It makes his explosive diaper changes much easier to clean up..although a lot of times those diaper changes result in a bath. Kaden is still loving his baths. He gets very excited and splashes with his legs and arms.
He loves to look outside (I am sure he will love going outside, but since it is so hot we really haven't spent a lot of time outdoors). He loves to go out and socialize, although, he does not like riding in the car. He gets very upset and screams at the top of his lungs. He may last a little while, but then he looses it. The rattle noise of his toy elephant and rocking his car seat help, but if he is really mad there is no hope. I think he likes some new sinerey.
He is starting to like bright colors, rather than just black and white.
Kaden likes to play on the floor on his tummy and on his back under his play gym. He hasn't learned to roll over yet, but he can scoot himself from side to side.

This picture is for a reality check...Kaden isn't always happy and smiling..there are not so happy times too!The last 3 months have been awesome. It is the greatest feeling when Kaden looks right up at me and his face lights up and he smiles. He makes everything even better. We have had amazing family time. Now, the next few months we will be adjusting to working life! I am so excited for what the future holds and the many many more great times together as a family!
